Benoît has built his entire career in the banking sector. He began at LCL, where he served as Corporate Director in Strasbourg from 2005 to 2009, and then in Lyon from 2009 to 2013. He subsequently became Chief Executive Officer of Banque THEMIS, the leading turnaround bank specializing in financing distressed companies, a position he held until 2021. In 2022, he founded BDP CONSEIL, an independent advisory firm.
A self-taught professional, Benoît DESTERACT also completed the DUA program at EM Lyon in 2013. He is a member of AFFIC (French Association for the Promotion of Consular Institutions) and IFPPC (French Institute of Insolvency Practitioners). He is also a member and currently serves as President of ARE (Association for Business Turnaround).
