With the support of ADVISO PARTNERS, the CHESNEAU Group, a leading player in France for JOHN DEERE agricultural equipment distribution, has announced its integration into the BPM group.
Founded in 1960 by Jean Chesneau in Épieds-en-Beauce and now led by his son Servais Chesneau, the Chesneau Group has become a leading name in the distribution of JOHN DEERE agricultural equipment for large-scale farming, livestock, and irrigation. The group consists of two main companies, Chesneau Agri Ouest and ETS Chesneau, and operates 17 sales points across the Centre-Val de Loire region and western France. With a team of 265 employees, it offers a wide range of agricultural machinery, including tractors and precision farming solutions, generating an annual revenue of over €130 million.
This operation, which involves the transfer of all shares and the real estate portfolio of the CHESNEAU Group, is part of BPM Group's development strategy. It aims to strengthen its position in the agricultural machinery sector by consolidating the BPM Agri division. With an extensive network of 31 sales outlets, a total workforce of 560 employees, and a consolidated revenue of €300 million, BPM Agri is reaffirming its ambition to become a leader in this strategic market.
Founded in 2004 and led by Patrick BORNHAUSER, the BPM Group is a key player in specialized distribution for vehicles, motorcycles, agricultural machinery, and public works. With 15 different activities, 2,600 employees, and 135 locations across France, Monaco, and Switzerland, the Group achieved a revenue of €1.6 billion in 2023.
