ADVISO PARTNERS advises the BC TRANSPORTS GROUP’S shareholders on its incorporation into BERTO GROUP
10/2022

Founded by André BRENGUIER in Hyères (83), BC TRANSPORTS is a family-owned group born from TRANSPORTS BRENGUIER’s acquisition of flower transporter CLOSON.

Initially specialised in removals and flower transport, BC TRANSPORTS is a diversified operator with a central positioning in refrigeration, structured around four business divisions:

Thanks to its longstanding regional presence and 350-strong vehicle fleet, BC TRANSPORTS has a leading position in refrigerated transport in the PACA region, France’s biggest temperature-controlled road transport market. Every day it prepares, ships and delivers around 20,000 items to some 15,000 customers.

In 2021, BC TRANSPORTS generated €32 million in revenue with 400 employees.

ADVISO PARTNERS advised the third generation of BC TRANSPORTS’ founding family on the company’s incorporation into the BERTO group.

Founded in 1964, family-owned BERTO is a leading player in France’s market for the rental of vehicles with drivers. The group has also diversified through an active acquisitions policy into onboard IT, aerial work platform and telehandler leasing, intermodal equipment leasing and, more recently, vehicle leasing with drivers for niche customers. With 82 locations in 9 countries, the BERTO group forecasts FY22 consolidated revenue of €430 million.

This transaction will enable BERTO to strengthen its territorial network in southeastern France and the two family-owned groups to combine their skills and know-how around a core of shared values and commitments. Alain and Christophe BRENGUIER and the BC TRANSPORTS management team will continue in their current roles and help BERTO Group develop the new entity.
