ADVISO ENTREPRENEURS advises the IPELEC GROUP shareholders in connection with the acquisition of COFIDEP to accelerate its service offering
07/2018

IPELEC, the French leader in the design and assembly of electrical, hydraulic and sanitary kits for builders of individual houses, has announced the acquisition of COFIDEP. This company was founded in 1992. It is located in the Deux Sèvres department and continues to specialize in technical kits and energy saving systems.

Benefiting from historical know-how and a strong reputation linked to the quality of their services, the COFIDEP design offices and workshops currently produce nearly 2,000 kits per year, for a customer base of individual house builders, participants in the service sector (school, hospitals, nursing homes, etc.) and individuals.

"This acquisition is part of the IPELEC Group's growth strategy, founded in 2003 and which in 2011 had already acquired the Limousin company EBP SN. The integration of COFIDEP enables our Group to strengthen the quality and competitiveness of its offering to the builders of individual houses: more service and proximity, with a sales team that will cover the whole of the country, more innovation and performance, thanks to the numerous partnerships we maintain with the finishing work companies" - Jean-Louis ROBERT, Chairman and co-founder of IPELEC.

"Joining the IPELEC Group will allow our company and our 33 employees to pursue a growth and performance momentum, in response to our customers' demand for more service, proximity and innovation. The use of prefabricated solutions is rapidly spreading, in a market whose construction modes are undergoing transformation, against a background of technological and digital innovation. With IPELEC, we will be able to offer the best to each of our customers" - Muriel MENARD, Chairman of COFIDEP.

"We are particularly satisfied by this new acquisition, which is very consistent with the investment project that we have set for ourselves. The group is continuing its organic and external expansion in order to consolidate and sustain its leading position in the French market. We aim to support the current concentration of the market with larger acquisitions in the future." - Laurent Salle, Managing Partner of NAXICAP PARTNERS.

"We are very pleased to once again support IPELEC Group's shareholders, who are demonstrating the robustness and relevance of their business model year after year. Their development project has succeeded in seducing COFIDEP's shareholders, who will continue to grow the group alongside Jean- Louis ROBERT, Michel FRANÇAIS and Olivier BUDIN" - Guillaume CAPELLE, Partner at ADVISO PARTNERS.
