ADVISO PARTNERS advises MAISON MEDELYS on the opening of its capital to RIVES CROISSANCE

Advised by ADVISO PARTNERS, the transaction allowed RIVES CROISSANCE to enter the capital alongside the historic shareholders and 5 managers of the Group. The transaction also reflects MAISON MEDELYS’ ambition to continue its strong development with top Chefs in the restaurant industry.

Founded in 1987 by Florence HARDY, MAISON MEDELYS is a leading player in B2B distribution of gourmet, technical, and high-end products aimed at chefs in France and internationally. The Group benefits from a unique strategic positioning at the International Market of Rungis (Ile-de-France), the largest fresh produce market in the world reserved for professionals. With about thirty employees, the Group achieved a turnover of over €12 million in 2023.

Over the years, MAISON MEDELYS has grown by offering its clients products from major brands, sourced from short supply chains, as well as its own brands. These brands now enjoy strong recognition among chefs: MEDELYS ESPRIT DE QUALITE (historic brand offering rare products dedicated to chefs), ESSENTIELS CHEFS (essential kitchen products at the fairest price, dedicated to chefs), EPICERIE FLO (gourmet products developed with partner artisans, dedicated to retailers).

The Group offers a wide and deep range (+3,000 references across 5 high value-added product lines), enabling it to serve a diverse and fragmented client portfolio, including restaurants and hotels, wholesalers in France and internationally, as well as delicatessens.

Committed to customer satisfaction and pursuing ambitious environmental goals, MAISON MEDELYS provides a rare range of services: research and identification of new products, personalized sourcing locally and worldwide, integrated tri-temperature transport, etc.

With its new partnership with RIVES CROISSANCE and efficient structuring, MAISON MEDELYS aims to undertake a development project based on solid fundamentals, including the development of innovative new product lines such as Alternative Proteins and Non-Food, in a rapidly growing market. Management also plans to carry out targeted external growth focused on geographic expansion and extension of its product lines and brands.

The transaction was financed through a 100% firm commitment by BANQUE POPULAIRE RIVES DE PARIS based on moderate leverage. Syndication will take place in September.
